Follow-up from last month’s GMC: Ganesh Chaturthi

On Monday, while most Americans celebrated Labor Day, Hindus around the world kicked off the 10-day festival of the Ganesh Chaturthi. I thought it would be nice to share pictures of this year’s celebration, because it’s nice to be reminded that we aren’t the last Polytheists in the world. Far from it. Many modern Pagans can only dream of this kind of large, society-wide celebration, especially in most far-flung parts of the world.
