Hail Seshat,

The Lady of Builders!

The All-Seeing Goddess

Who records everything

From the beginning of time,

Unto its End.

Wife of Thoth, Lady of Wisdom,

Engineer’s Goddess,

She Who stretches the cord.

All temples to other Gods

Are also a monument to Your greatness, O Seshat.

For You are She Who designs structures to stand the test of centuries

Who inspires piety in the hearts of worshipers to desire a Temple

And Who helps the Pharaoh to determine its boundaries.

As such all sacred spaces hold a place for You,

Lady of Boundaries Great and Small.
